  • A visit to Haddo is sure to keep you occupied all day; there’s so much to see and do.

Throughout the house and grounds, family portraits, monuments and memorabilia build up a fascinating history of the Gordon family over the centuries. The superb collection of paintings includes works by Pompeo Batoni, William Mosman, Sir Thomas Lawrence and James Giles.

Visit the old stables and you’ll find our shop, which sells an excellent range of gifts, then drop into the period tearoom to sample some delicious home baking.

Don’t leave without visiting the delightful terrace garden with geometric rosebeds and fountain, a lavish herbaceous border and secluded glades and knolls. A magnificent avenue of lime trees leads to adjacent Haddo Country Park with its lakes, monuments, walks and wildlife.
